It frames Jyotiṣa as a dharmic aid: certain lunar placements are described as naturally gentle and auspicious, supporting right timing and harmony in rites connected with ancestors and virtuous living.
Indirectly: by recommending auspicious lunar conditions, it supports orderly performance of dharmic and devotional observances (such as offerings and vows), which stabilize the mind and make worship more sattvic.
Vedāṅga Jyotiṣa—judging the Moon’s benefic/afflicting status through nakṣatra deity-grouping and sign nature to select favorable times for ritual and dharma.
