लंकोदयात्स्याद्वारादिस्तस्मादूर्ध्वमधोऽपिवा । देशांतरस्वचरार्द्धनाडीभिरपरे भवेत् ॥ १५९ ॥

Transliteration

laṃkodayātsyādvārādistasmādūrdhvamadho'pivā | deśāṃtarasvacarārddhanāḍībhirapare bhavet || 159 ||

Translation

ランカー（Laṅkā）の日の出を基準として、ドヴァーラカー（Dvārakā）その他の地の時刻が定められる――進んでいる（大）場合も、遅れている（小）場合もある。別の地方では、当地の経度のずれ（sva-cara）に応じて、半ナーディ（nāḍī）単位で差を算定すべきである。
