Sanatkumara (teaching Narada)
Vrata: none
Primary Rasa: bhayanaka
Secondary Rasa: adbhuta
It teaches dharmic time-discipline (kāla-niyama): certain tithis and an abnormal Paurṇimā are treated as spiritually and ritually unsuitable, and ignoring such timing is said to bring harm to family welfare and continuity.
Bhakti in the Purāṇic sense includes proper observance of vrata and worship at auspicious times; the verse supports devotion through careful selection of tithi so that offerings, vows, and family rites align with dharma rather than negligence.
Jyotiṣa (Vedāṅga astrology): it identifies specific lunar days (tithi) and a calendrical anomaly (daytime Moon on Paurṇimā) as factors for deciding ritual suitability in Narada Purana rituals.
