मानांतरद्रुद्भूमिः स्यादथोभूनराहतिः । प्रभाप्ता जायते दीपशिखौच्च्यं स्यात्त्रिराशिकात् ॥ ५९ ॥
mānāṃtaradrudbhūmiḥ syādathobhūnarāhatiḥ | prabhāptā jāyate dīpaśikhauccyaṃ syāttrirāśikāt || 59 ||
一つの度量を他の度量へ換算すれば、それに応じた面積が定まり、同様に得られる量も求まる。得られた光明から、三比例(いわゆる三段法)によって灯火の炎の高さを知ることができる。
