Matsya Purana — Rite and Layout for Consecrating Ponds, Shloka 31

जुहुयाद्वारुणैर्मन्त्रैर् आज्यं च समिधस्तथा ऋत्विग्भिश्चाथ होतव्यं वारुणैरेव सर्वतः //

juhuyādvāruṇairmantrair ājyaṃ ca samidhastathā ṛtvigbhiścātha hotavyaṃ vāruṇaireva sarvataḥ //

ヴァルナの真言によって供物を投じるべきである。すなわち酥油(アージャ)と供柴(サミド)である。さらに祭官たちは、あらゆる点において、ヴァルナの真言のみを用いて供献を行うべきである。
