Adhyaya 88 — The Manifestation of the Matrikas and the Slaying of Raktabija
इत्याज्ञाप्यासुरपतिः शुम्भो भैरवशासनः । निर्जगाम महासैन्यसहस्रैर्बहुभिर्वृतः ॥
ity ājñāpyāsurapatiḥ śumbho bhairavaśāsanaḥ / nirjagāma mahāsainyasahasrair bahubhir vṛtaḥ
かく命令を下すと、アスラの主にして統治も恐るべきシュンバは、幾千もの大軍に囲まれて出陣した。
Tyrannical authority (‘bhairavaśāsana’) can assemble vast resources, but its foundation is fear, not legitimacy—hence it is unstable before the divine order.
