Adhyaya 82 — The Rise of Mahishasura and the Manifestation of the Goddess from the Gods’ Tejas
पातयामास चैवान्यान् घण्टास्वनविमोहितान् ।
असुरान् भुवि पाशेन बद्ध्वा चान्यानकर्षयत् ॥
pātayāmāsa caivānyān ghaṇṭāsvanavimohitān | asurān bhuvi pāśena baddhvā cānyānakarṣayat ||
あるアスラたちは彼女の鈴の音に惑わされ、女神によって地に倒された。ほかの者は縄の投げ輪で縛られ、引きずり去られた。

Adharma is not only defeated by force but also by the collapse of its delusion; when moha breaks, the asuric will loses standing and is ‘brought to ground’.
An ākhyāna segment: it reinforces Purāṇic teaching on divine governance of the moral cosmos, without being a genealogical or manvantara catalogue.
The bell-sound signifies the shock of awakened awareness that disorients egoic tendencies; the noose symbolizes karmic binding and the Devī’s power to restrain and redirect prāṇa/impulses.
