तस्य तैरभवद्युद्धमतिप्रबलदण्डिनः ।
न्यूनैरपि स तैर्युद्धे कोलाविध्वंसिभिर्जितः ॥
tasya tair abhavad yuddham ati-prabala-daṇḍinaḥ |
nyūnair api sa tair yuddhe kolā-vidhvaṃsibhir jitaḥ ||
彼は、きわめて強大な刑罰と武力を振るう者でありながら彼らと戦ったが、その戦いでは、数が少ないにもかかわらずコーラを滅ぼす者たちに敗れた。
