Adhyaya 80 — Vaivasvata Manvantara: Enumeration of Manus and the Eighth Manu Sāvarṇi
पाताल आस्ते योऽद्यापि दैत्यः समयबन्धनः ।
विरजाश्चार्ववीरश्च निर्मोहः सत्यवाक्कृतिः ।
विष्ण्वाद्याश्चैव तनयाः सावर्णस्य मनोर्नृपाः ॥
pātāla āste yo ’dyāpi daityaḥ samayabandhanaḥ / virajāś cārvavīraś ca nirmohaḥ satyavāk kṛtiḥ / viṣṇvādyāś caiva tanayāḥ sāvarṇasya manornṛpāḥ
そのダイティヤ（バリ）は、盟約によって縛られたまま、今なおパーターラ（Pātāla）に住む。ヴィラジャ（Viraja）、チャールヴァヴィーラ（Cārvavīra）、ニルモーハ（Nirmoha）、サティヤヴァーク（Satyavāk）、クリティ（Kṛti）、そしてヴィシュヌ（Viṣṇu）に始まる他の者たちは、サーヴァルニ・マヌの子—王たち—である。
