Divine power is distributed into instruments of protection. The narrative implies that righteous force (astra/śastra) is legitimate when grounded in the supreme order and used to restore balance.
Carita: mythic account of the gods receiving weapons; also supports Sarga-like motifs where energies become concrete forms.
Weapons here are crystallized śakti. Śiva’s trident can be read as mastery over triads (three guṇas, three times, or three states), empowered by the supreme radiance.
