Adhyaya 72 — The Reconciliation Rite, Sarasvati Sacrifice, and the Birth of Uttama Manu (Auttama Manvantara Prelude)
तस्याः प्रतिक्रियां प्रीत्या मम शक्नोति चेद्भवान् ।
वाग्विघातप्रशान्त्यर्थं ततः किं न कृतं मम ॥
tasyāḥ pratikriyāṃ prītyā mama śaknoti ced bhavān | vāgvighātapraśāntyarthaṃ tataḥ kiṃ na kṛtaṃ mama ||
もし汝が我への慈愛ゆえに、彼女のための治療の方途を行いうるならば、その言語の障碍を鎮めるために、我がなさぬことがあろうか。
Love is expressed as responsibility: true ‘prīti’ manifests as concrete action to relieve another’s suffering, especially when one is implicated in its cause.
