Adhyaya 70 — The King Confronts the Rakshasa and Restores the Brahmin’s Wife
वयं बुभुक्षितास्तस्य मन्त्रोच्चाटनकर्मणा ।
क्व यामः सर्वयज्ञेषु स ऋत्विग् भवति द्विजः ॥
vayaṃ bubhukṣitās tasya mantroccāṭanakarmaṇā | kva yāmaḥ sarvayajñeṣu sa ṛtvig bhavati dvijaḥ ||
「彼が真言で追い払うため、我らは飢えたままだ。どこへ行けばよいのか。あらゆる祭祀において、そのバラモンが祭官（ṛtvij）として奉仕しているのだ。」
