ममाप्येवं महद्रक्षः समुपैति पदानुगम् ।
न शृणोषि महानादं तस्यादूरेऽपि गर्जतः ॥
mamāpyevaṃ mahadrakṣaḥ samupaiti padānugam | na śṛṇoṣi mahānādaṃ tasyādūre 'pi garjataḥ ||
この私にさえ、大いなる羅刹が近づき、我が歩みにぴたりと付き従って来る。遠くから吼えたてているのに、その猛々しい咆哮が聞こえぬのか。
