अन्योन्यहृर्च्छ्याविष्टा मैथुनायोपचक्रमुः ।

ततः प्रभृति कल्पेऽस्मिन् मिथुनानां हि सम्भवः ॥

Transliteration

anyonyahṛcchayāviṣṭā maithunāyopacakramuḥ |

tataḥ prabhṛti kalpe 'smin mithunānāṃ hi sambhavaḥ ||

Translation

互いの渇望に捉えられて、彼らは男女の交合に取りかかった。その時よりこのカルパにおいて、雄と雌という対の生起が成立した。
