Adhyaya 44 — Subahu’s Counsel to the King of Kashi and Alarka’s Renunciation through Yoga
अज्ञानपङ्कगर्भस्थमनुद्धारं महामतिः ।
आत्मानञ्च समुत्तीर्णं गाथामेतामगायत ॥
ajñāna-paṅka-garbhastham anuddhāraṃ mahāmatiḥ | ātmānañ ca samuttīrṇaṃ gāthām etām agāyata ||
大いなる心の人は、衆生が無明という胎の泥濘に沈み、救い出されぬままであるのを見、また自らはすでに渡り終えているのを見て、このガーターを詠じた。
