Adhyaya 41 — Yogic Conduct and the Discipline Leading to Siddhi

Sanskrit

अथ नित्यं गृहस्थेषु शालीनैषु चरेद्यतिः । श्रद्धधानेषु दान्तेषु श्रोत्रियेṣu महात्मसु ॥

Transliteration

atha nityaṃ gṛhastheṣu śālīneṣu cared yatiḥ | śraddadhāneṣu dānteṣu śrotriyeṣu mahātmasu ||

Translation

それゆえ出家の遁世者は、常に śālīna（品位あり、定住し、規律ある）家住者のもとに赴くべきである。彼らは信を具え、自制し、śrotriya（聖典に通暁する者）であり、心高き人々である。
