Adhyaya 41 — Yogic Conduct and the Discipline Leading to Siddhi
अपानाय द्वितीया तु समानायते चापरा ।
उदानाय चतुर्थो स्याद्व्यानायेति च पञ्चमी ॥
apānāya dvitīyā tu samānāyate cāparā | udānāya caturtho syād vyānāyeti ca pañcamī ||
第二の供はアパーナ(Apāna)に、次はサマーナ(Samāna)に。第四はウダーナ(Udāna)に、第五はヴャーナ(Vyāna)に捧げるべきである。

The body is treated as a sacred system: nourishment is aligned with the five vital functions, encouraging restraint and awareness rather than heedless consumption.
