Adhyaya 39 — Funeral Rites
वात-गुल्मप्रशान्त्यर्थमुदावर्ते तथोदरे ।
यवागूं वापि पवनं वायुग्रन्थिं प्रतिक्षिपेत् ॥
vāta-gulma-praśānty-artham udāvarte tathodare / yavāgūṃ vāpi pavanaṃ vāyu-granthiṃ pratikṣipet
ヴァータの障害とグルマ(gulma)を鎮め、またウダーヴァルタ(udāvarta)および腹部の諸患にも、粥を施すべし。それは風(pavana)を抑え、ヴァーユの「結び目」を解く。
