तं बुबोधयिषुः सोऽथ चिरं ध्यात्वा महीपतिः ।
तद्वैरिसंश्रयं तस्य श्रेयोऽमन्यत भूपतेः ॥
taṃ bubodhayīṣuḥ so 'tha ciraṃ dhyātvā mahīpatiḥ |
tad-vairi-saṃśrayaṃ tasya śreyo 'manyata bhūpateḥ ||
彼を目覚めさせようとして、彼は久しく熟考し、あの王が敵のもとに庇護を求めざるを得ぬよう追い込まれる(すなわち敵対の圧力に直面する)のが最善であると定めた。
