वैराग्यं नास्य सञ्जज्ञे भुञ्जतो विषयान् प्रियान् ।
न चाप्यलमभूत्तस्य धर्मार्थोपार्जनं प्रति ॥
vairāgyaṃ nāsya sañjajñe bhuñjato viṣayān priyān |
na cāpy alam abhūt tasya dharmārthopārjanaṃ prati ||
愛すべき感官の快楽を味わっていても、彼に離欲は起こらなかった。またダルマと財を得ることに関して、彼が「もう十分だ」と感じたことは一度もなかった。
