Adhyaya 35 — Madālasa’s Instruction on Purity, Impurity, and Corrective Rites (Śauca and Aśauca)
भस्माम्बुभिश्च कांस्यानां शुद्धिः प्लावाद् द्रवस्य च ।
अमेध्याक्तस्य मृत्तोयैर्गन्धापहरणेन च ॥
bhasmāmbubhiś ca kāṃsyānāṃ śuddhiḥ plāvād dravasya ca /
amedhyāktasya mṛt-toyair gandhāpaharaṇena ca //
青銅の器は灰と水によって浄められ、液体は澄まし注ぎ(あるいは溢れさせること:plāva)によって浄められる。不浄が塗り付いたものは、粘土と水、さらに臭気を除くことによって浄められる。
