Adhyaya 31 — Naimittika and Related Śrāddha Rites: Sapiṇḍīkaraṇa, Eligibility, Timing, and Procedure
निष्पादयेनमहाभाग ! पितॄणां प्रीणने रतः । अग्नौ कार्यमनुज्ञातः कुरुष्वेति ततो द्विजैः ॥
niṣpādayen mahābhāga! pitṝṇāṃ prīṇane rataḥ / agnau kāryam anujñātaḥ kuruṣveti tato dvijaiḥ
おお高貴なる者よ、ピトリ（Pitṛs）を喜ばせることに専心する者は、作法に従って儀礼を正しく完了すべきである。次いで許可が与えられると、二度生まれ（dvija）に告げられる。「火中にてなすべきことを行え。」
