FAQs

The prince’s assumption about ‘the farther bank’ highlights how ordinary spatial expectations fail in liminal realms; humility and openness are implied when approaching hidden worlds and their inhabitants.

Primarily Ākhyāna (narrative episode). It is not directly sarga/pratisarga/manvantara/vaṃśa/vaṃśānucarita, though it may sit within a larger vaṃśānucarita-style royal narrative depending on surrounding context.

‘Passing through the middle’ can symbolize a transition through a threshold (madhya-mārga) from the human plane to a subtler plane (Pātāla), where perception and ‘banks/sides’ are redefined.
