शरै: संछिद्यमानानां कवचानां महात्मनाम् | ताम्रराजतलौहानां प्रादुरासीन्महास्वन:,महामना शुरवीरोंके ताँबे, चाँदी और लोहेके बने हुए कवच जब बाणोंसे कटते थे, तब उनका बड़ा भारी शब्द होता था
śaraiḥ saṃchidyamānānāṃ kavacānāṃ mahātmanām | tāmra-rājata-lauhānāṃ prādurāsīn mahāsvanaḥ ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。矢が偉大なる戦士たちの鎧—銅・銀・鉄で作られた鎧—に突き立ち、切り裂くたび、戦場には轟くような巨大な金属音が湧き起こり、戦いの凄烈さを告げた。
