Transliteration

ghnantam atyartham ahitān vijayaṃ tatra menire kālam arjunarūpeṇa saṃharantam iva prajāḥ

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。その戦場で、パールタが圧倒的な力で数知れぬ敵兵を討ち滅ぼすのを見て、人々は「これはまるで、時（カーラ）—死そのもの—がアルジュナの姿を取って来たり、衆生の命を刈り取っているかのようだ」と結論した。
