Chapter 55
नूनं पार्थजयैषित्वाच्छक्र: सर्वामरै: सह | हन्त्यस्मानित्यमन्यन्त पार्थेन निहता: परे
nūnaṃ pārthajayaiṣitvāc chakraḥ sarvāmaraiḥ saha | hanty asmān ity amanyanta pārthena nihatāḥ pare ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。パールタ（アルジュナ）に射倒された敵兵たちは、「きっとパールタの勝利を望むがゆえに、シャクラ（インドラ）が諸天を率いて来て、我らを討っているのだ」と思いなした――それほどまでに、勝利を求めるアルジュナの武威は彼らに神力のごとく圧倒的に映ったのである。
