Virāṭa’s Mobilization to Recover the Cattle

Effective action in a crisis should be disciplined and well-organized (arraying and dividing the army), yet guided by prudent counsel and humility—deferring to the best judgment of the responsible leader rather than acting rashly.
Vaiśampāyana reports a decision to march out swiftly: the army is to be properly arranged and split into divisions for coordinated movement, while the final plan is left to the discretion of the person addressed as 'anagha' (blameless one).
