चरन्तु देशान् संवीता: स्फीताञज्जनपदाकुलान् । तत्र गोष्ठीषु रम्यासु सिद्धप्रत्रजितेषु च
carantu deśān saṃvītāḥ sphītāñ janapadākulān | tatra goṣṭhīṣu ramyāsu siddhapratrājiteṣu ca ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「彼らは巧みに変装し、富み栄え人々で満ちた国々を巡れ。そこで、心地よい集会の場や、成就した苦行者・出家者が往来し守護する所において、慎重に問いただすがよい。」
