suduḥkhā khalu kāryāṇāṃ gatir vijñātum antataḥ | tasmāt sarve nirīkṣadhvaṃ kva nu te pāṇḍavā gatāḥ || 2 ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「事の究極の成り行きを正しく見定めるのは、まことにきわめて難しい。ゆえに汝ら皆、つぶさに探り、あのパーンダヴァたちがどこへ去ったのかを確かめよ。」
