Draupadī’s Grief at Seeing the Heroes in Disguise (द्रौपदी-विषादः / वेष-परिभव-वर्णनम्)
यन्मां दासीप्रवादेन प्रातिकामी तदानयत् | सभापरिषदो मध्ये तन््मां दहति भारत,दुर्योधनके सेवकके रूपमें दुःशासन मुझे दासी कहकर जो उस समय कौरवोंके सभाभवनमें जनसमाजके भीतर घसीट ले गया, वह अपमानकी आग मुझे आजतक जला रही है
yan māṃ dāsī-pravādena prātikāmī tadānayat | sabhā-pariṣado madhye tan māṃ dahati bhārata ||
ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「おおバーラタよ、その辱めはいまなお胸の内で燃えている。プラーティカーミーが『侍女』と呼ぶ口実で、あのとき私を王の सभाのただ中へ引きずり込んだのだ。その屈辱は今もなお心を焼き続けている。」
