पुलस्त्य उवाच
Ritual purification (snāna) combined with sincere spiritual discipline (sādhana/tapas) at a recognized sacred place is presented as a powerful dharmic act that yields exalted posthumous reward—honor in heaven—emphasizing faith, effort, and sanctity of place.
Pulastya, speaking to a king, continues a tirtha-related instruction by describing the फल (result) of bathing at the sacred mountain Kālañjara and practicing austerity there, assuring the listener that such conduct leads to heavenly honor without doubt.
