अग्निष्टोमातिरात्राभ्यां फलमाप्नोति मानव: | तत्र संध्यां समासाद्य विद्यातीर्थमनुत्तमम्‌

Transliteration

agniṣṭomātirātrābhyāṁ phalam āpnoti mānavaḥ | tatra sandhyāṁ samāsādya vidyātīrtham anuttamam ||

Translation

グーラースティヤは言った。「アグニシュトーマ（Agniṣṭoma）とアティラートラ（Atirātra）の祭祀を行う者は、それにふさわしい果報を得る。だがその地で、サンディヤー（暁と黄昏の交わる時）に至れば、比類なき『知のティールタ』—学びと内なる規律によって彼岸へ渡る聖なる渡し—に出会う。」
