Pulastya’s Instruction
गत्वा मधुवटीं चैव देव्यास्तीर्थे नर: शुचि: । तत्र स्नात्वार्चयित्वा च पितृन् देवांश्व॒ पूरुष:
gatvā madhuvaṭīṃ caiva devyās tīrthe naraḥ śuciḥ | tatra snātvārcayitvā ca pitṝn devāṃś ca pūruṣaḥ ||
清らかな者は、女神の聖なる渡し場にあたるマドゥヴァティー（Madhuvaṭī）へ赴き、そこで沐浴すべきである。沐浴ののち、祖霊（Pitṛ）と諸天（Deva）の双方を、法にかなって恭しく供養せよ。
