Pulastya’s Instruction
सप्तसारस्वते स्नात्वा अर्चयिष्यन्ति ये तु माम् न तेषां दुर्लभ किंचिदिहलोके परत्र च,“जो सप्तसारस्वततीर्थमें स्नान करके मेरी पूजा करेंगे, उनके लिये इहलोक और परलोकमें कोई भी वस्तु दुर्लभ नहीं होगी
saptasārasvate snātvā arcayiṣyanti ye tu mām | na teṣāṃ durlabhaṃ kiṃcid iha loke paratra ca ||
「サプタサーラスヴァタの聖なる渡しで沐浴し、ついで我を礼拝する者には、この世においても彼岸においても、得がたいものは何ひとつない。」
घुलस्त्य उवाच
Ritual purity through bathing at a sacred tīrtha, followed by devoted worship, is presented as a powerful means to secure both worldly well-being and posthumous welfare—nothing beneficial remains beyond reach for such devotees.
A speaker (here identified as “Ghulastya”) proclaims the fruit (phalaśruti) of a specific pilgrimage act: bathing at the Saptasārasvata tīrtha and worshipping the speaker-deity, promising comprehensive attainments in both this life and the next.
