Pulastya’s Instruction
अहश्न सुदिनं चैव द्वे तीर्थ लोकविश्रुते । तयो: स्नात्वा नरव्याप्र सूर्यलोकमवाप्लुयात्,अहन् और सुदिन--ये दो लोकविख्यात तीर्थ हैं। नरश्रेष्ठ)! उन दोनोंमें स्नान करके मनुष्य सूर्यलोकमें जाता है
ahaś ca sudinaṁ caiva dve tīrthe lokaviśrute | tayoḥ snātvā naravyāghra sūryalokaṁ avāpnuyāt ||
グーラースティヤは言った。「アハ(Ahaḥ)とスディナ(Sudina)は、世に名高い二つのティールタである。おお、人中の虎よ。その両方で沐浴する者は、太陽の世界に至る。」
घुलस्त्य उवाच
The verse teaches the dharmic idea that disciplined pilgrimage and ritual purity—here, bathing at renowned tīrthas—can generate spiritual merit leading to elevated posthumous destinations, specifically the realm of Sūrya.
A sage-like speaker, Ghūlastya, is describing celebrated pilgrimage sites and their fruits. He identifies two famous tīrthas—Ahaḥ and Sudina—and promises that bathing in them grants attainment of Sūryaloka.
