तत्राश्रमो वसिष्ठस्य त्रिषु लोकेषु विश्रुत: । तत्रोष्य रजनीमेकां गोसहस्रफलं लभेत्,वहाँ महर्षि वसिष्ठका त्रिलोकविख्यात आश्रम है, जिसमें एक रात रहनेसे सहस्र गोदानका फल मिलता है
tatrāśramo vasiṣṭhasya triṣu lokeṣu viśrutaḥ | tatroṣya rajanīm ekāṁ gosahasraphalaṁ labhet |
そこには三界に名高い聖仙ヴァシシュタ（Vasiṣṭha）の庵がある。そこでたとえ一夜を過ごすだけでも、千頭の牛を施すに等しい功徳を得るという。
