Educational Q&A

Faithful service and truthful communication support dharma in times of distress: Keśinī’s careful observation and honest report become the practical means by which Damayantī can act wisely and move toward restoring what has been broken.

Keśinī notices the distinctive changes and signs in the wise King Nala (disguised and altered by hardship). She goes to Damayantī and tells her everything, setting up Nala’s recognition and the couple’s eventual reunion.
