Damayantī’s Dialogue with Bāhuka; Recognition and Disclosure
इस प्रकार श्रीमह्याभारत वनपववके अन्तर्गत नलोपाख्यानपर्वमें ऋतुपर्णका राजा भीमके नगरमें प्रवेशविषयक तिहत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi antargate nalopākhyānaparvaṇi ṛtuparṇasya rājño bhīmasya nagare praveśa-viṣayakaḥ trayaḥsaptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ samāptaḥ
かくして『聖マハーバーラタ』森林篇（ヴァナ・パルヴァ）所収「ナローパークヒヤーナ」において、リトゥパルナ王がビーマの都へ入城することを述べた第七十三章は終わる。この結語は物語の転換を告げる—一人の王が他王の領域へ踏み入るという行為は、叙事詩の倫理において、儀礼・歓待・そして君主が客人や使者に負う務めを伴うからである。
