त्वत्कृते5हं सुरेशेन प्रेषितो वरवर्णिनि । प्रियं कुरु महेन्द्रस्य मम चैवात्मनश्व ह,“वरवर्णिनि! देवेश्वर इन्द्रने तुम्हारे लिये एक संदेश देकर मुझे भेजा है। तुम उसे सुनकर महेन्द्रका, मेरा तथा मुझसे अपना भी प्रिय कार्य करो”
tvatkṛte'haṃ sureśena preṣito varavarṇini | priyaṃ kuru mahendrasya mama caivātmanaś ca ha ||
アルジュナは言った。「あなたのためにこそ、麗しき肌の御方よ、私は神々の主より遣わされた。さあこの言葉を聞き、偉大なるインドラの御心にかなうこと、そして私の心にかなうこと、さらにあなた自身の真実の心にかなうことをなされよ。」
