गृहाणेमां मया प्रोक्तां सिद्धि मूर्तिमतीमिव । विद्यां प्रतिस्मृतिं नाम प्रपन्नाय ब्रवीमि ते,“मेरी दी हुई इस प्रतिस्मृति नामक विद्याको ग्रहण करो, जो मूर्तिमती सिद्धिके समान है। तुम मेरे शरणागत हो, इसलिये मैं तुम्हें इस विद्याका उपदेश करता हूँ

Transliteration

gṛhāṇemāṃ mayā proktāṃ siddhiṃ mūrtimatīm iva | vidyāṃ pratismṛtiṃ nāma prapannāya bravīmi te ||

Translation

ヴィヤーサは言った。「我が説き授けたこの智を受けよ。名をプラティスムリティ（Pratismṛti）という。まるで形ある成就そのもののごとく、手に取るように確かなものだ。汝は我に帰依して来たゆえ、我はこの教えを汝に授ける。」
