भवतो5नवधानेन राज्यं न: पश्यतां हृतम्‌ | अहार्यमपि शक्रेण गुप्तं गाण्डीवधन्चना,“गाण्डीवधारी अर्जुनके द्वारा सुरक्षित हमारे राज्यको इन्द्र भी नहीं छीन सकते थे, परंतु आपकी असावधानीसे वह हमारे देखते-देखते छिन गया

bhavato ’navadhānena rājyaṃ naḥ paśyatāṃ hṛtam | ahāryam api śakreṇa guptaṃ gāṇḍīvadhanvanā |

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは言った。「汝の不注意ゆえに、我らの国は見ている前で奪われた。ガーンディーヴァを携えるアルジュナが守っていたのだから、インドラといえども奪えなかったはずだ。だが汝の怠りによって、それは我らの手からすり抜けたのだ。」
