वनपर्वकी सम्पूर्ण शलोक-संख्या १२२७६॥- #++ २० ()) #अअज अप वनपव्व-श्रवण-महिमा इदमारण्यकं श्रुत्वा महापापै: प्रमुच्यते । अधनो धनमाप्रोति पुत्रपौत्रसमन्वित:,इस वनपर्वको सुनकर मनुष्य बड़े-बड़े पापोंसे मुक्त हो जाता है, निर्धन धन पाता है और पुत्र-पौत्रोंसे सम्पन्न होता है

Transliteration

idam āraṇyakaṃ śrutvā mahāpāpaiḥ pramucyate | adhano dhanam āpnoti putrapautrasamanvitaḥ ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「ヴァナ・パルヴァの総詩頌数は一万二千二百七十六である。この『アーラニャカ』（すなわちヴァナ・パルヴァ）を聴聞する者は、大いなる罪すらも離れ去る。貧しき者は財を得、子と孫に恵まれる。かくして本書は、ヴァナ・パルヴァを聴くことの浄化と吉祥の功徳を宣言する。」
