निर्भ्सनापवादैश्व तथैवाप्रियया गिरा । ब्राह्मणस्य पृथा राजन्‌ न चकाराप्रियं तदा,राजन! वे ब्राह्मण कभी धिक्कारते, कभी बात-बातमें दोषारोपण करते और प्राय: कटु वचन भी बोला करते थे, तो भी पृथा उनके प्रति कभी कोई अप्रिय बर्ताव नहीं करती थी

Transliteration

nirbhartsanāpavādaiś ca tathaivāpriyayā girā | brāhmaṇasya pṛthā rājan na cakārāpriyaṃ tadā ||

Translation

ヴァイシャンパーヤナは語った。「王よ、そのバラモンが時に彼女を叱責し、時に非難し、しばしば辛辣で不快な言葉を浴びせたとしても、プṛター（クンティー）はその時、彼に対して少しも不親切に振る舞わなかった。」
