तौ लब्धसंज्ञौ नृवरौ विशल्यावुदतिष्ठताम् । गततन्द्रीक्लमौ चापि क्षणेनैती महारथौ,होशमें आ जानेपर वे दोनों नरश्रेष्ठ महारथी वीर बाणोंसे रहित हो आलस्य और थकावट त्यागकर क्षणभरमें उठ खड़े हुए
tau labdhasaṃjñau nṛvarau viśalyāv udatīṣṭhatām | gatatandrīklamau cāpi kṣaṇenaitī mahārathau ||
マールカンデーヤは語った。「意識を取り戻すや、あの二人の人中の雄は—身を貫いていた矢もすでに除かれ—ただちに起き上がった。まどろみと疲労を振り捨て、二人の大車戦士は瞬く間に再び立ち上がった。」
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights steadfastness under adversity: true nobility is shown by quickly regaining composure, discarding lethargy and exhaustion, and returning to one’s duty with clarity and courage.
After being rendered unconscious and pierced by arrows, the two heroes regain consciousness, have the shafts removed, and immediately rise—refreshed of drowsiness and fatigue—ready to continue.
