इस प्रकार श्रीमहाभारत वनपर्वके अन्तर्गत रामोपाख्यानपर्वमें त्रिजटाद्वारा सीताको आश्वासनविषयक दो सौ अस्सीवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
iti prakāraṁ śrīmahābhārata-vanaparvake antargata-rāmopākhyānaparvaṇi trijaṭā-dvārā sītāyāḥ āśvāsana-viṣayakaḥ dviśatāśītitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ
かくして、『聖マハーバーラタ』林住篇（ヴァナ・パルヴァ）所収「ラーモーパークヒヤーナ」中、トリジャターがシーターを慰め励ましたことを述べる第二百八十章は終わる。この章の結びは、逆境における不動の忍耐と、苦痛と離別によってダルマが試されるとき、慈悲ある助言が人を支える力となることを示している。
