Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān

गतासु तासु सर्वासु त्रिजटा नाम राक्षसी । सान्त्वयामास वैदेहीं धर्मज्ञा प्रियवादिनी,वहाँ केवल धर्मको जाननेवाली प्रियवादिनी त्रिजटा नामकी राक्षसी रह गयी। अन्य सब राक्षसियोंके चले जानेपर उसने सीताको सान्त्वना देते हुए कहा--

Transliteration

gatāsu tāsū sarvāsū trijaṭā nāma rākṣasī | sāntvayāmāsa vaidehīṃ dharmajñā priyavādinī ||

Translation

ほかの羅刹女たちが皆去ったのち、羅刹女トリジャターだけが残った。法（ダルマ）をわきまえ、言葉やさしい彼女は、恐れと孤独のただなかにあるヴァイデーヒー（シーター）を慰め、心を安んじさせた。
