Sāvitrī’s Dialogue with Yama and the Restoration of Satyavān
sarva ete mahātmāno buddhimanto mahābalāḥ | alaṃ tava vināśāya rāmavīryabalāśrayāt ||
Nobility and discernment, when joined to righteous strength and proper support, become decisive; the verse underscores that moral and strategic backing (here, Rāma’s valor and power) makes the virtuous capable of overcoming destructive forces.
Mārkaṇḍeya warns an addressed opponent that the assembled heroes are all wise and powerful, and that with the backing of Rāma’s prowess they are sufficient to bring about that opponent’s downfall.
