अकुर्वतोस्मद्वचन स्यान्मृत्युरपि ते ध्रुवम् । मारीचकी बात सुनकर रावण और भी कुपित हो उठा और उसे डाँटते हुए बोला --'मारीच! यदि तू मेरी बात नहीं मानेगा तो भी तेरी मृत्यु निश्चित ही है
akurvato 'smad-vacanaṁ syān mṛtyur api te dhruvam |
