सा तद्वच: समाज्ञाय तथा चक्रे मनोजवा । इतश्रैतश्न गच्छन्ती वैरसन्धुक्षणे रता,वह मनके समान वेगसे चलनेवाली थी। उसने ब्रह्माजीकी बातको अच्छी तरह समझकर उसके अनुसार ही कार्य किया। वह इधर-उधर घूम-फिरकर वैरकी आग प्रज्वलित करनेमें लग गयी
sā tadvacaḥ samājñāya tathā cakre manojavā | itaś caitaś ca gacchantī vairasandhukṣaṇe ratā ||
マールカンデーヤは語った。その言葉を明らかに悟るや、彼女はそのとおりに行った。思いのごとく迅く、彼女はあちらこちらへと往来し、怨恨の残り火を煽り立てることに心を定め、行く先々で敵意を掻き立てた。
मार्कण्डेय उवाच
The verse highlights how quickly and effectively hostility can be amplified when someone deliberately acts to inflame enmity; it implicitly warns that ethical responsibility lies not only in actions but also in how one uses influence to escalate or calm conflict.
After understanding an instruction previously given, a swift-moving female figure carries it out by roaming from place to place with the aim of provoking and intensifying mutual hatred, thereby preparing the ground for further strife.
