इस प्रकार श्रीमह्या भारत वनपववके अन्तर्गत द्रौपदीहरणपर्वमें जयद्रथपलायनविषयक दो सौ इकह्तत्तरवाँ अध्याय पूरा हुआ
Iti prakāraṃ śrīmahābhārate vanaparvaṇi antar-gate draupadīharaṇaparvaṇi jayadrathapalāyanaviṣayakaḥ dviśataika-saptatitamo 'dhyāyaḥ pūrṇaḥ.
かくして『マハーバーラタ』林住篇(ヴァナ・パルヴァ)「ドラウパディー略奪」の章内、ジャヤドラタの逃走を扱う第271章は終わる。奥書はこの挿話の結びを示し、邪な欲望とダルマの侵犯が恐怖・敗北・恥辱を招く一方、辱められた者を堅く守ることが道義の要請であると強調する。
